RIDING OPTIONS AND PRICING
Fina Vista Farm is home to a lovely herd of Paso Fino Horses, a gaited breed of Spanish origin that is known for its smooth ride, loving temperament and brio. Wouldn't you love the opportunity to learn to ride, enjoy the trails or even tackle obstacles on the world's smoothest horse?
For Memberships and Trail Riding, some experience is required. Helmets and boots with heels to be worn by all riders (we have helmets and some boot sizes), please come dressed appropriately, including long pants (stretchy recommended), sports bras, warm or dry enough clothing.
The parking area and outhouse is at the end of lane, in front of old barn.
Due to the smaller size of the Paso Fino Horse, we currently have a weight limit of 200 lbs for all riders.

Guided Trail Rides:
Absolutely the most fun way to relieve stress, enjoy nature and have a unique recreational experience sure to be remembered. Ride the beautiful trails here at Fina Vista Farm with a guide to make sure you make it back home for tea and swapping adventure tales.
Trails go through the beautiful Oak Hills just East of Stirling, Ontario. You will find a mix of winding forested pathways, open rolling fields, and plenty of lovely scenery. You can even challenge yourself to some Horseback Obstacles, if you wish. enjoy the famous luxury ride of the smooth-gaited Paso Fino Horse!
Some riding experience recommended; our trails are varied and can be challenging for total beginners.
As the Paso Fino is a smaller breed, currently our weight limit for rider is #200lb. Be sure to bring boots with heels and long pants suited for riding. Bring your helmet too, if you have one (we have some if you don't). Inexperienced Riders can be put on a pony line. In order to have adequate staff present, please notify us of any beginner riders and youth when booking.
Riders must be minimum 10 years old or have at least 6 months riding experience.
NOTE IT IS THE LAW IN ONTARIO FOR ANY RIDER 18 & UNDER TO WEAR BOOTS AND HELMET. TO RIDE YOU MUST COME DRESSED APPROPRIATELY PLEASE.

Want the fun and freedom of owning a horse without the commitment and extra expenses? Why not try a riding membership with our fine Paso Fino horses? Ride on our lovely trails, or partially covered sand arena. We guarantee 3 rides per week. You pay one flat monthly fee and we look after the horse's care, vet bills, farrier bills, etc. Some riding experience is required, lessons available where needed. Members must hold valid equine liability insurance. You can also try different horses to expand your experience and skills. ALL memberships include on-property riding. Any off-site riding permitted by special request.

The goal is to improve your riding skills to get the best gait, and maximize enjoyment and safety. A quiet and laid-back environment. Outdoor instruction only so weather dependent. For beginners to advanced recreational. Our focus is developing overall horsemanship for confident recreational riding. We incorporate working with obstacles, different challenges, games and trail riding into our instruction program. Getting out on the trails as much as possible is a definite goal. The added element of outdoor exercise, communing with nature, developing a bond with a horse and the bonus of equine stress management are our specialties.
$55 each for 1 hour

Lessons - Private Youth

One-on-one riding instruction, focusing on riding the Gaited Horse on well-mannered Paso Fino Horses. The goal is to improve your riding skills to get the best gait, and maximize enjoyment and safety. A quiet and laid-back environment. For beginners to advanced recreational.
